Miami has once again made its mark on the cocktail industry thanks to an award won by ViceVersa. Located at the Elser Hotel, the establishment was named Best U.S. Hotel Bar at the 2026 Spirited Awards. The award was presented during the Tales of the Cocktail festival in New Orleans.
ViceVersa was the only representative from the Miami area to win an award at this year’s eventāan achievement that adds to the accolades it has garnered since opening and reinforces its standing among the country’s top bars.
ViceVersa adds another accolade to Miamiās cocktail scene
This honor holds special significance for the team led by Valentino Longo, the founder who opened ViceVersa in 2024. The bar was a finalist for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar the previous year, making this award a significant milestone in its journey.
The venue has also earned recognition in other specialized lists. In 2026, it appeared on the North Americaās 50 Best Bars list for the first time and was included in the 50 Best Discovery guide.

The Spirited Awards are considered one of the most prestigious honors in the hospitality and cocktail industries. Winners are selected through an evaluation process involving over 250 international specialists; they analyze each entry using a review system designed to eliminate the influence of popular voting and ensure that every evaluation carries equal weight.
With this award, ViceVersa bolsters its reputation and confirms the growth it has demonstrated since arriving in downtown Miami.
