Teen Arrested After Hit-and-Run Leaves Man Critical in Miami-Dade

A 19-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly fleeing the scene of a violent multi-vehicle crash in Miami-Dade County’s West Little River neighborhood that left one person fighting for their life.

The incident unfolded Wednesday evening around 8:40 p.m. when Treyvon Hall, driving a black 2018 Dodge Challenger, allegedly ran through the intersection of Northwest 18th Avenue and 84th Street without stopping. His vehicle collided with a white 1999 Infiniti QX4 before continuing northbound and slamming into a parked 2022 Kia K5 on the sidewalk.

The force of the collision sent the Infiniti crashing into a tree at the corner of the intersection. Rather than staying to help, Hall allegedly fled on foot and jumped over a fence to escape. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed the critically injured victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center for emergency treatment.

Deputies tracked down Hall early Thursday morning and apprehended him around 4 a.m. in the West Little River area. According to the arrest report, Hall confessed to being behind the wheel of the Dodge Challenger, mentioned he had left his cell phone inside the vehicle, and asked officers if his brother was okay.

Hall was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center shortly after 5:10 a.m. He faces two charges: resisting an officer without violence and leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to monitor the victim’s condition.
