The city of Miami will host one of the most symbolic editions of Miss USA. The national pageant will reach its 75th edition on August 27, when 51 contestants, representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia, will compete for the crown at a gala held at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
The ceremony will mark the end of several days of competition, after which the successor to Audrey Eckert, the current Miss USA, will be crowned. Eckert will hand over the crown at the end of the evening.

This commemorative edition also coincides with the pageant’s 60th anniversary in its modern format, which is why the organization is preparing a special production that will combine traditional competitions with new audiovisual elements and a stage design that highlights the pageant’s history.
