ViceVersa, the Miami aperitivo bar located at The Elser Hotel, has opened a seasonal residency at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Fort Lauderdale. The bar will operate in the hotel lobby through May 2026, marking its first venture outside Miami.
Earlier this year, ViceVersa was nominated for a James Beard Award for Best New Bar and was included in the Michelin Guide, milestones that placed it among the most recognized new concepts in the region.

ViceVersa opens at Four Seasons in Fort Lauderdale
Co-owner and bartender Valentino Longo, who launched the original ViceVersa in 2024, said the expansion supports the bar’s goal of sharing aperitivo culture with a broader audience.
He explained that the Fort Lauderdale residency aligns with the bar’s ongoing intention to present Italian aperitivo traditions through drinks, service and design. According to Longo, the location also creates an opportunity to reach guests who seek new dining and drinking experiences during the season.
The cocktail menu reflects the bar’s focus on Italian influence and technique. Drinks at the Four Seasons include the Martini Doppio, which reinterprets the Gibson with a blend of gin or vodka, and the ViceVersa Negroni, prepared with the bar’s proprietary Mi-To amaro blend.
The Fort Lauderdale residency also introduces new offerings such as the Beeswax Old Fashioned, a white wine spritz and the Coast to Coast, made with Aperol, toasted coconut and prosecco. These additions allow ViceVersa to test ideas and expand its catalog while maintaining consistency with its original concept.
ViceVersa enters a property that houses two restaurants recognized by the Michelin Guide: MAASS from Chef Ryan Ratino, which received Fort Lauderdale’s first Michelin star for its Chef’s Counter, and Evelyn’s, the Mediterranean restaurant led by Chef Brandon Salomon.
The Four Seasons said the arrival of ViceVersa supports the hotel’s plan to align with the city’s growing food and beverage identity. Management noted that Fort Lauderdale continues to draw new visitors and residents interested in elevated culinary projects, making this residency a timely partnership.
