Blake Lively is pushing back against Justin Baldoni’s attempt to dismiss her lawsuit. She is insisting that deserves her “day in court” as she lays out new allegations about what she describes as a hostile work environment on the set of It Ends With Us.
In the heavily redacted document, Lively accuses Baldoni and his co-defendants of using the dismissal request as their “latest effort to avoid accountability” for alleged misconduct during production.

Her filing claims Baldoni’s legal team is “throwing the kitchen sink” at her accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation in an attempt to undermine her credibility.

Lively’s lawyers argue that Baldoni’s defense relies on DARVO tactics — denying wrongdoing, attacking the accuser and reversing the roles of victim and offender. They note that, beyond filing what they call a “frivolous lawsuit” earlier this year, which was dismissed in June, Baldoni’s camp also “supercharged” negative narratives portraying Lively as difficult and overbearing.
According to the filing, the actor attempted to reframe Lively as a “bully” who tried to “take over” the film. The document emphasizes that the director and producer held “total consolidation of power,” giving him significant control over Lively’s working conditions.

That imbalance, her team argues, threatened her ability to do her job effectively and forced her to repeatedly report and address inappropriate behavior.
The lawsuit, which includes claims of sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, emotional distress, invasion of privacy and lost wages, “must be sent to a jury,” Lively’s filing concludes. Only a full trial, her attorneys argue, can properly examine the extent of the alleged misconduct and determine accountability.
