A Miami man has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting involving a locksmith at an apartment complex, according to authorities. The incident took place on Friday evening around 6:20 p.m. at 6355 Southwest Eighth Street. Miami police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officers encountered Adrian Venero, the locksmith who had been called to assist with gaining entry to an apartment.

Suspect apprehension and legal proceedings
The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Luis David Lemus from West Miami, was apprehended on Saturday. Law enforcement officials stated that Lemus allegedly fired the gunshot that killed the locksmith during the attempt to gain access to his apartment.
