U.S. President Donald Trump announced this Wednesday that the government will grant a special bonus of $1,776 to its Military Personnel
President Trump called this bonus the «Warrior Dividend,» attributing to it a symbolic value alluding to the year 1776, the year the nation was founded. According to his statements, it represents recognition of the work and sacrifice of U.S. military personnel.
The head of state indicated that the checks are already in the process of distribution and that the bonus will be delivered before December 25, with the aim of «honoring those who defend the country.»

Bonus Details and Eligibility
The payment of $1,776 will be delivered to active-duty members and certain reservists of the Armed Forces. Priority will be given to those with ranks O-6 and below, according to official information.
The White House has indicated that the funds for the bonus to Military Personnel come, in part, from revenues generated by trade tariffs and from the tax legislation known as the «One Big, Beautiful Bill.»

The announcement is part of President Trump’s year-end national address. In it, he also mentioned some achievements of his administration such as:
